Welcome to Poetic Book Tours!

       We strive for excellence and maximum exposure for our authors.  We want to bring readers to poetry.

      We have expanded to include not only small press poetry, fiction, and nonfiction, but also self-published authors. As the market becomes saturated with books published by big houses, smaller presses and self-published authors need grassroots marketing more than ever.

Tours must be booked and paid for 1 month before the start of the online book tour. 

The author/publisher agrees to ship copies of their book to the bloggers hosting tour stops, to arrive at least 4 weeks prior to the tour dates. Some blog tour reviewers will accept PDF or Kindle copies for review.

Authors and their books will be featured for the entire month on Poetic Book Tours with a unique URL.

 Add-on services:

• Placement of a video reading of a poem/prose piece on the dedicated tour page (provided by the author) $30
• Placement of book trailer on dedicated tour page (provided by the author or publisher) $30

Those poets/authors who make themselves available for interviews, guest posts, and commenting on the day of their tour stops, generally get the most out of the experience — meeting new readers and generating Internet buzz for their books. 

Tours can be tailored to exclude certain parameters of the standard packages upon request and based on availability.

Agreed upon payments are for the organization and guarantee of scheduled posts on avid readers’ blogs (not journals, national press, or other mainstream press) during the month of the scheduled tour and social media shares by Poetic Book Tours.
