Poetic Book Tours, founded in 2015 by Serena Agusto-Cox, aims to create the buzz poets and their publishers are looking for in today’s ever increasing online marketplace. Our services connect poets/authors and their books with bloggers who have experience in reading and writing reviews of poetry collections and small press fiction and select nonfiction.

With a minimum investment and no travel, authors can share their words with an audience predisposed to buying their books.

The Los Angeles Times reported in 2010 that traditional book tours are hard to justify as authors spend thousands of dollars on traveling from city to city and state to state. As more and more publishers cut back on book tour budgets, authors are forced to find alternate means of marketing their books.

Poetic Book Tours is just one of many companies to choose from, but our services are tailored to the poets and authors who struggle to find their audience in an increasingly saturated book market.

Tours can be tailored to the authors’ needs based on their own schedules and tour goals, with posts ranging from reviews to interviews, guest articles, and giveaways. Tours are not just for new releases, but for new printings, previous books, and books that coincide with current events.
